Mayhugh Commercial Advisors Chase Mayhugh named 40 Under 40 honoree

Feb 5, 2023

Chase Mayhugh, senior advisor and broker at Mayhugh Commercial Advisors, has been named a 40 Under 40 honoree by Business Observer for 2022.

Each year, the Business Observer, a weekly publication that highlights the region’s business and economic news, selects 40 individuals under 40 years old from the Gulf Coast business community. Carefully selected from nominations and original reporting, these individuals represent the best and brightest from Tampa to Naples.

Chase Mayhugh got his start in the commercial real estate business at 19, when he earned his sales associates license. Two years later, he earned his brokers license.

Mayhugh now manages over one million square feet of commercial properties and owns several properties of his own. Over his career, he’s completed $700 million in transactions, with $35 million booked for the first half of this year. Mayhugh represents several Fortune 500 companies, working on sales, purchases and long-term leases.

“I am honored to be named as a 40 under 40 honoree among so many other impressive business professionals,” said Chase Mayhugh, SIOR, CCIM. “My father taught me to work hard, be honest and demonstrate integrity while always advocating for your client’s best interest. I credit my success in commercial real estate to his leadership.”

In selecting finalists, Business Observer chose individuals who are entrepreneurial-minded, even if they don’t own their own businesses, for the 2022 list.

“There are a lot of publications that do similar lists each year,” says Business Observer Executive Editor Kat Hughes. “We wanted our list to stand apart as a group of young professionals who aren’t afraid to take charge and take risks in their business. They are willing to try new things and put their ideas into action. To us, this is what it means to be a business leader, and we feel these 40 individuals embody that spirit.”
