Chuck Mayhugh, a Florida native, is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Florida. He has been a Fort Myers resident for 42 years and involved in large and small scale residential assemblages and entitlements as well as the Commercial field for 41 years. Chuck specializes in assisting his clients by offering and providing his knowledge and expertise in respect to: site selections, acquisitions and dispositions of real estate, assemblage of parcels for development, and assisting his clients through the entitlement process.
Chuck’s business background began in retail at age 21 by opening two retail stores in Lee and Manatee Counties. He started in the real estate business by purchasing homes and vacant land in Fort Myers at 23. At 24 he attained his real estate license and began working for Broker Art Hamel of Gulf Coast Properties, who was also the Chairman of the Florida Real Estate Commission and later become a two term Mayor of Fort Myers. From the onset of Chuck’s real estate career, he strived to be well directed, informed and was mentored by truly an icon in the real estate business, Art Hamel and his unwavering ethics, honesty and integrity were mandatory in the workplace of this highly respected Fort Myers real estate office and continue to this day by Chuck and all his agents at Mayhugh Realty, Inc., now known as Mayhugh Commercial Advisors.
Chuck has been married to his lovely wife, Cathy, for 41 years. They have a wonderful daughter, Jessica, a Florida school teacher and two beautiful grandchildren, Charlotte and Matthew. Chuck’s son, Chase Mayhugh, who obtained his real estate and Broker’s license at 23 years old and his CCIM designation at 28, is an extremely important asset to the real estate firm. Chuck is confident these same virtues which were instilled in him early in his career and now instilled in his Son, will continue the real estate tradition of providing professional real estate services to each and every one of their clients for a very long time.
