Mayhugh Commercial Advisors was established by Charles E. Mayhugh (“Chuck”), a lifelong resident of Southwest Florida and a 45+ year expert in listing, selling and the development of commercial and industrial real estate. In addition to offering normal services of real estate, Chuck’s expertise and vast knowledge of Real Estate Land Trusts, performing and coordinating small and large-scale property assemblages, researching and personally inspecting critical site data and site characteristics, offers our clients the professional experience they deserve and expect in the process of selecting the right investment opportunity in today’s real estate environment. Over the years Chuck has been involved with the Chuck has brokered some of Southwest Florida’s largest land and development trans-actions consisting of over $1 Billion in total dollar volume over his 45 year career.

Broker & Owner – Senior Advisor
Chuck Mayhugh, a Florida native, is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Florida. A Fort Myers resident since 1979, he is involved in large and small scale residential assemblages and entitlements as well as the Commercial field. Chuck specializes in assisting his clients by offering his knowledge and expertise with respect to site selections, acquisitions, and dispositions of real estate, an assemblage of parcels for development, and ease through the entitlement process. Chuck’s business background began in retail at age 21 by opening two retail stores in Lee and Manatee Counties. He started in the real estate business by purchasing homes and vacant land in Fort Myers at 23. At 24, he attained his real estate license and began working for Broker, Art Hamel of Gulf Coast Properties. From the onset of his real estate career, Chuck strives to be well directed, informed, and unwavering in ethics, honesty, and integrity. These characteristics are mandatory in the workplace within our highly respected Fort Myers real estate office – Mayhugh Commercial Advisors. Chuck is married to his lovely wife, Cathy, for 41 years. They have a wonderful daughter, Jessica, a Florida school teacher, and two beautiful grandchildren, Charlotte and Matthew. Chuck’s son, Chase Mayhugh, obtained his real estate and Broker’s license at 23 years old and his CCIM designation at 28. Chuck is confident these same virtues which were instilled in him early in his career are instilled in his son as well as all other advisors at Mayhugh Commercial.

Chase is a third generation real estate practitioner, born and raised in Southwest Florida. Chase has a keen understanding for the local Real Estate market. Chase began his real estate career in 2003 and has been actively involved in sales, leasing and advisory services of commercial property in Southwest Florida. Chase has been recognized as one of the elites in his industry by receiving the Co Star Power Broker Award. His winning performance was measured against all the commercial real estate brokers active in the Southwest Florida region and ranked based on overall transaction volume. In October of 2010 Chase achieved the prestigious CCIM designation. Only 6 percent of the estimated 150,000 Commercial Real Estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program, but also why it’s one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry. In 2022, Chase was honored as a 40 Under 40 award winner by Business Observer.
Chase has represented and negotiated transactions for multibillion dollar companies such as ABC Supply Co., TruGreen, Town and Country Industries, Hendricks Development Group, Service Masters and Privately Held REITS. Chase is currently an active member of the ULI Urban Land Institute, NAR National Association of Realtors and The Rotary Club of Fort Myers.

– Sales Associate – Senior Advisor
Bryan Burchers is a Southwest Florida native, born and raised in Punta Gorda and now resides in Cape Coral and has been involved in the Southwest Florida real estate market since 1985.
Bryan is a graduate of the University of Florida where he received a bachelor’s degrees in Finance and an Accounting degree from the University of South Florida. He began his real estate career in 1985 specializing in commercial, vacant land, real estate investment trusts, and land development. Bryan possess a strong family background in commercial real estate and development. He is the son of one of Southwest Florida’s most prominent real estate developers, Sam Burchers, Jr., one of the original developers of Punta Gorda Isles. PGI was developed in 1959 as a waterfront community with over 55 miles of direct access canals on beautiful Charlotte Harbor.
Bryan joined Mayhugh Commercial Advisors in 2015 and represents landlords, tenants, sellers and buyers of industrial, professional office, medical, retail, and vacant land properties. Throughout his career, Bryan has developed valuable relationships by providing exceptional real estate services for his many clients. He is continually expanding his knowledge and real estate expertise to better serve his clients in the Southwest Florida commercial real estate market.
Bryan has been happily married to his wife Mary Culleton-Burchers since 1988. Mary is a middle school counselor at Trafalgar Middle School. Together they have two wonderful daughters. Elizabeth Brust is the Executive Director of Life Care Center of Punta Gorda and is married to Matthew Brust a Business/Tax Attorney with Henderson Franklin, Attorneys at Law. Laura Burchers is an Algebra Teacher, track, cross-country and swim coach at Charlotte High School. On his spare time, Bryan is an avid boater, tennis player, and cycler.
Justin Ankney, CCIM,
– Sales Associate – Senior Advisor
Justin Ankney joined Mayhugh Commercial Advisors in 2020 as a sales associate. Justin enjoys working in all asset classes of Commercial Real Estate but specializes in Industrial and Office. In his first full year with the firm, he transacted more than $20 Million including several prominent off-market deals in the Fort Myers area. Justin’s scope of work includes leasing, sales, owners representation, and advisory services. He’s successfully closed many investment sales, 1031 Exchanges, and Sale Leasebacks. To better serve his clients, Justin began pursuing the CCIM designation in 2022 and completed the program just eight months later. Now a Senior Advisor with the firm, Justin works with many clients ranging from local business owners to billion-dollar companies.
Justin has been happily married to his wife Lori Ankney since 2014. Lori is a second-grade teacher at Saint Michael Lutheran School. They have two amazing daughters, Hazel and Elizabeth.

Senior Office Operation Manager
Sydney Oudi is the Senior Office Operations Manager for Mayhugh Commercial Advisors. She is responsible in overseeing all the Brokerage Divisions, Property Management and Accounting. Currently, Sydney oversees the property management division consisting of over 1 Million Square feet having a market value of just over $100 Million throughout the State of Florida. Sydney has extensive knowledge in managing assets and is well respected by vendors and clients. Sydney is a native to Cape Coral, Florida and has great local market knowledge and relationships. Sydney has been married to her husband Jay since 2013 and they have two beautiful daughters Durrani and Anari. The family loves spending time together and being outdoors.
Luke Kenzik, LCAM, CMCA, AMS,
Vice President – Property & Asset Management
Luke Kenzik is the Vice President of Property and Asset Management. Luke joined Mayhugh Commercial Advisors in 2023, bringing over 11 years of experience in the property and asset management industry.
Before joining the firm, Luke was the Executive Director with Capital Consultants Management Corporation (CCMC) in charge of Babcock Ranch, FL – a widely renowned community that will have 20,000 residential units and over 6 million square feet of commercial space. At CCMC, he managed a team of over 60 employees, running the town’s Residential Association, Commercial Association, and field operations for the Community Development District (CDD). Prior to Babcock Ranch, Luke managed large-scale, master planned communities in Austin, TX, Plano, TX, and Tallahassee, FL. With a diverse background, Luke brings a wide variety of knowledge and experience to the Mayhugh team.
Luke is a Florida native and received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Florida State University where he met his wife Kelly. They have been happily married since 2018 and welcomed their first daughter, Emerson, in October of 2022. When not on the golf course, Luke enjoys watching the Seminoles and spending time with his family anywhere near the water.
